Megan’s first days at MarketPlace were nothing short of chaotic. Thrown immediately into the fire, she began her career at the company without having even been interviewed! A barrage of urgent projects required extra design help, and after hearing positive things, she was summoned to assist instantly. Lucky for MarketPlace, she was definitely up to the challenge.
Fast-forward several years to the present. Megan is a key piece of the MarketPlace puzzle. Her meticulous attention to detail, ability to conceive sophisticated design solutions for the appropriate medium, and inherent understanding of the interplay between business and design needs is what has propelled her to a place of prominence within the company.
Adept at cutting through the clutter to distill a message down to it’s common denominator, Megan uses her finely tuned communication skills, and very approachable personality to work effectively with both designers and clients alike to craft the best possible products.
- Megan graduated at the top of her class with an Associate Degree in Graphic Communications from SLCC at Florissant Valley.
- She has participated in numerous art shows around the metropolitan area & her work was selected for an exclusive show representing the best of student work.
- Megan has 5+ years of experience in the areas of graphic design, illustration & photography.
- As a freelance graphic designer she has worked on everything from brand development to identity creation, print, web, packaging, advertising, and logo design.
Megan’s interests primarily come from findings and research on the internet. As a direct result of Google, she has attended music festivals, gotten involved in charity:water*, practiced hoop dancing, gone trail running, and learned the secrets to keeping her apartment plants alive. Marked hobbies aside, her average weekend plans involve cooking French food (by French, we mean that she cooks with a lot of butter!) and talking movies with her boyfriend.
